In cooperation with ITI/TU Vienna, EECS – Exhibition Event Congress Services GmbH has succeeded in developing an ecological, energy-saving, sustainable, and chemical-free alternative to existing aluminum construction systems for trade fairs and events: The Wood Design Expo Systems – an environmentally friendly alternative made of oak.

Oak is particularly distinguished by its quality and appearance and is considered one of the most valuable native hardwoods. Thanks to the load-bearing capacity of oak and the metal connectors we have specially developed and produced, we are able to create stands with crossbars and posts up to 6 meters in height.

In an archaic style, we can thus place temporary structures at trade fairs, events, and conferences. On these sustainable and aesthetically outstanding exhibition stands, lighting elements such as spotlights, floodlights, logos, etc., are then attached.

The prints that are stretched into the frames complete the exhibition stand. What is particularly noteworthy about our prints is that they are not only printed in an environmentally friendly manner but are also reusable. Due to the reusability of the prints, it is possible to use them at various events without always having to have the same appearance. In short, our systems adapt to your wishes and ideas without constantly wasting resources.

For the first time in the trade fair industry, our patented innovation from Vienna allows companies to present themselves authentically, sustainably, and in an environmentally friendly way at trade fairs. The modular system behind our exhibition stands allows for both variable stands and easier assembly and disassembly. To minimize transport routes and avoid having to supply all of Europe from Vienna, oak posts and crossbars of all lengths are also stored and produced in Bavaria, ensuring supply to and within the region. This is made possible through partnerships with excellent partner companies. Thus, the topic of sustainability—from the idea to assembly and disassembly—is at the heart of our company’s philosophy.
